The Kumite Fightclub is the first franchise school of the National Martial Arts League, and future home of the Columbia MANTID professional martial arts franchise (team), with the mission of “Making People Better for Life”.

By providing programs to combat community issues such as:

-          Stress - America’s #1 Health Problem

-          Adult Obesity - South Carolina’s rate is 5th in the US

-          Crime - 16% of US Citizens will be victims of crime

-          Bullying - 90% of 4th through 9th graders report being victims of Bullying

The Kumite Fightclub has created specialized programs to combat and resolve these community issues…….

The average martial arts facility teaches a traditional martial arts program.  The Kumite Fightclub offers programs needed to place an impact on community issues.

The Kumite Fightclub martial arts training facility will be focused and committed to supporting their mission by offering on-site (at your work site or at their school location) certified personal instruction, focused on health and fitness for children, teens, and adult obesity; along with, educating women on how to fight back and regain control over domestic violence; allowing children and teens who feel threatened by bullies to be empowered  to take a stand and learn positive solutions to resolve conflicts through an effective certified self-defense program, for those needing ONLY self defense, and fitness by way of the Build the BODY of your DREAMs program for those weight challenged and needing to lose weight and get fit along with a Summer Camp program for children that are being bullied and lastly we offer a white to blackbelt program in American Karate – with the foundation of the Okiniwan art of Isshinryu.

At The Kumite Fightclub our belief's and core principles are simple. To assist our students not only in the Martial Arts, but to also put emphasis on developing their self esteem, self discipline, confidence, respect of others and sportsmanship. This coupled with our Traditional Family Values are the core of our teachings along with developing leadership qualities. As students experience our program(s) they will gain knowledge and experience that will last a lifetime.

All Classes at THE KUMITE FIGHTCLUB are fully supervised by a qualified instructor which assures close personal attention to every student in a disciplined yet family oriented atmosphere with safety and well being, as our primary concern.
